🎁 2026 Prize Packages – California Homebrew Circuit

The 2026 California Homebrew Circuit prize pool is proudly sponsored by MoreBeer! (part of the MoreFlavor! family). Prizes reward performance in the All-State standings as well as the North and South divisions.

The circuit is open to all brewers who compete in the California competitions included in the CHBC schedule. All-State prizes can ship anywhere in the United States, and we welcome competitors from across the country to support our California competitions. Division prizes are designed to support local California brewers and are pickup-only at MoreBeer! showrooms. To be considered for any year-end prizes, all brewers must complete the 2026 Prize Eligibility Opt-In Form.

🏆 All-State (Overall) Prizes

The All-State standings recognize the top brewers across all competitions in the circuit. The top three overall finishers receive the following prize packages, fulfilled and shipped by MoreBeer!:

🥇 1st Place – All-State Champion

  • BrewBuilt X3 Jacketed Conical Fermenter (7 gal or 14 gal, winner’s choice, subject to availability) – View product

🥈 2nd Place – All-State

🥉 3rd Place – All-State

  • MKII High-Temp Magnetic Drive Pump (or an equivalent model at the sponsor’s discretion) – View product

All-State prizes are open to brewers in the final All-State standings who complete the 2026 Prize Eligibility Opt-In Form. Shipping is covered by MoreBeer! for eligible U.S. addresses.

📍 North & South Division Prizes

Separate prize packages are awarded in both the North and South divisions. The following packages are awarded per division (one set for North, one set for South):

🥇 1st Place – Division Champion (North & South)

  • 5 sacks of Viking malt
  • 3 lbs of hops
  • 15 sachets of yeast

🥈 2nd Place – Division (North & South)

  • 3 sacks of Viking malt
  • 2 lbs of hops
  • 10 sachets of yeast

🥉 3rd Place – Division (North & South)

  • 1 sack of Viking malt
  • 1 lb of hops
  • 5 sachets of yeast
Local pickup only: Division prize packages are pickup-only at participating MoreBeer! retail showrooms. These prizes are intended to support brewers who are active in the California scene and able to claim their prizes in person.

✅ Eligibility & Opt-In Requirements

All-State & Division Prizes

  • Any brewer who appears in the final All-State or Division standings (based on competitions included in the CHBC schedule) and completes the 2026 Prize Eligibility Opt-In Form is eligible to be considered for prizing.
  • Brewers may be eligible for North Division + All-State, South Division + All-State, or All-State Only. Brewers may not be eligible for both North and South division prizes.
  • All-State prizes may be shipped anywhere in the United States that MoreBeer! is able to fulfill orders to. Division prizes are local pickup only and are intended to support local California brewers who can claim prizes in person at participating MoreBeer! showrooms.

2026 Prize Eligibility Opt-In Form

  • To be eligible for any 2026 CHBC prize package (All-State or North/South division), brewers must complete the 2026 Prize Eligibility Opt-In Form.
  • The opt-in form will confirm:
    • Your shipping details and/or your ability to pick up prizes in person at a qualifying showroom.

All brewers must complete this form by the published deadline to be considered for any 2026 prize packages.

Prize Cascade / Shift-Down Rule

If a brewer in a prize-winning position is not eligible for a prize (for example, they did not complete the opt-in form or are unable to pick up locally), that prize will shift down to the next eligible brewer in the standings for that category.

Example: If the 1st place brewer cannot claim a division prize, the 1st place package moves to the next eligible brewer, and all lower prizes cascade accordingly. Prizes will not be held, re-shipped, or re-assigned outside of these terms.
